Your Feet Are Receiving a Love Letter from the Planet

Some people would have you walk over a bed of coals to show your dedication and belief.
I would have you walk over a bed of lettuce.
Its gentler, delicate, soft.
You will step lightly and thoughtfully.
Your feet would touch the ground with intention, so as to not crush the buttery lettuce leaves.
Why set your feet on fire or walk with feats of strength, when walking with intention and kindness is a greater feat?
Feats of your feet.
To walk across a lettuce bed would take intentional, measured, soft footsteps.
Your feet take you where your heart directs you. But if your head is directing your life and you are following one idea to the next, you’ll always feel a bit pulled along.
The head is best when aligned with the heart.
Let your footfalls be gentle and your step gentle.
Let yourself ease into movement.
Let yourself slide into gratitude with the comfort of a calm, balanced mind.
You probably didn’t know but there’s a magnetism between your feet and the earth. Magnetism is the scientifically correct term, but it’s the energetic one of choice for you. The earth’s magnetism pulls you in. The gravity that holds you to the earth is a hug from this planet to you. You’ve been embraced for so long, you may not even realize you’re getting a hug as you receive it.
You receive a nonstop pull of magnetism and gravitational hug from the planet. It holds you close, no matter your name, age, occupation, income, or behavior.
You couldn’t do anything to cause the earth to release its gravitational hug on you. You are unconditionally hugged and held.
Let the hug be something you are grateful for. There’s no hug like gravitational hugs.
No love like gravitational love.
You are the recipient. You are beloved. You are held close.
If you forget this, set the intention to remember every time you lie down, every time your bare feet touches the earth, every time you look at the horizon. You’re held closely by a planet that loves you deeply. That love is expressed through the strongest force this planet can give to you. Gravitational love.
